MVR Guideline
The following drivers are unacceptable:
  • No valid driver's license.
  • Suspended, denied or revoked license (within last 3 years), scofflaw accepted
  • One or more suspensions (with reinstatement), scofflaw accepted
  • Three or more at fault accidents with the last three years.
  • Three or more moving violations within the last three years. The conviction date and not the date of violation will determine the time parameters.
  • Any combination of three or more moving violations, at fault accidents.
  • Any operator with a major violation within the last five years. Major violations include any of the following:
    • Aggravated assault with a motor vehicle.
    • Attempting to elude a police officer.
    • Careless or negligent driving.
    • Driving on the wrong side of the highway.
    • Driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
    • Failure to stop and report an accident.
    • Negligent homicide arising out of the use of a motor vehicle.
    • Operating a motor vehicle without the owner's authority.
    • Permitting an unlicensed person to drive.
    • Reckless driving.
    • Speed contest or drag racing.
    • Use of a vehicle during the commission of a felony.
    • Youthful passenger with an open container.
